Vinegar is an economical and safe cleaner. I love vinegar because it has so many uses. Here are 5 ways to use vinegar to clean.
1. To Kill germs on doorknobs and other household items, use one part water to one part vinegar in a spray bottle.
2. To loosen stuck on grease and food mix a ½ cup vinegar and a ½ baking soda in a microwavable bowl. Heat until boiling. Wipe away messes.
3. To unclog a shower head by soaking it in equal parts water and vinegar.
4. To clean linoleum floor use one cup of vinegar for every gallon of water.
5. To clean your coffee maker fill the reservoir with at least 1 cup of vinegar and run its cycle. Run the cycle 2 more times with just water and you’ll find your next pot of coffee tastes less bitter and the mineral deposits are gone.
